This web site is created for the students who passed SSCE  in the year 1964 from Bengali Education Society's High School, Mumbai. Also included are friends who did not complete the schooling till 1964 but left the school earlier, and were with us for many  years. Four decades have gone by. The friends are now in various walks of life. Most of them are in India and some have settled abroad. In fact our dear friend Manojit who is Doctor by profession and settled in U.K., happened to visit Mumbai in December 2001, for official assignment at Tata Memorial Hospital. He started it all. He rang up Partha, in a deeply nostalgic tone and told him, if he can contact our school friends. Partha, the hyper that he is, lost no time in contacting as many friends as he knew. Thus we had had our first Reunion at Pritam da Dhabba, Dadar, Mumbai. Gradually we came to know whereabouts of more and more friends. We meet every year in winter and share our thoughts, experiences, remember the days when we were together in school. It is our endeavor to keep in touch with our friends via telephone, email, meetings and also to help our friends who need our help at all times.
